God has been active in helping to form the BCCX-W Kairos Inside ministry!

• We were able to complete our first weekend on May 28-31, 2015.
• The Closing ceremony is well attended and heart-felt testimonies are given.
• We have successfully established a Reunion group at the Women’s complex.

Future Weekends:

Kairos Inside #12, led by Cynthia Christian, is scheduled for May 22, 2025.

1. We need more individuals willing and called to be trained  to serve as leaders and team members.
2. We need to increase our funding so that we are ready to hold  Weekends each year.

IF you plan to attend a Closing Ceremony at the prison, you must complete a form and submit it to us well before the actual Closing, in order to be approved for entry by the prison.  Please see the attached form.

HISTORY OF BCCX-WOMEN START-UP

2013: The Tennessee Department of Corrections made preparations to include 300 women on the Bledsoe complex.  BCCX is the only facility in Tennessee that serves both male and female inmates.

The men’s Kairos Advisory Council made advance preparations to create a Start-Up Council for Bledsoe County Correctional Complex-Women.

2014:  The Start-Up Council began holding monthly Kairos Reunions for graduates from other institutions that were moved to BCCX-W.  Cookies were distributed to all women during the men’s Kairos Inside Weekends.

2015: With a lot of prayer, volunteer participation, and perseverance, the first BCCX-W Kairos Inside Weekend was held in May 2015.  The Advisory Council was formed and functioning.
