Kairos Outside is a Christian-based ministry designed for women who have been affected by the imprisonment of a loved one. Kairos Outside is a 2 ½ day Christian Weekend designed to demonstrate God’s grace and love through Christian support for women who have been impacted by incarceration. The ministry is designed to provide a sacred and safe environment for women, who often feel hopeless, isolated and alone. They feel like they have no one who can understand what they are going through and that they are “doing time” right along with their incarcerated loved ones. If this sounds like you, we welcome you to join us as a guest on a wonderful weekend opportunity to meet others who have been or are still traveling along the same path as you are. The Kairos Outside Weekend is composed of a variety of activities, including a series of talks and meditations from ladies just like you who share their life’s journeys. Throughout the weekend, there will be music, prayer, fun activities, lots of food and pampering. The weekend is Christian in nature, however there is no need for religious affiliation to attend. Currently, women wishing to attend a Kairos Outside weekend would need to attend East Tennessee Kairos Outside (in the Knoxville or Chattanooga areas), or Northeast Tennessee Kairos Outside, near Greeneville.  We are still attempting to start up a Kairos Outside group in middle Tennessee.
